5 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. 8 9 3. OPERAT ION GETTING STARTED This air cleaner features a remote control for additional convenience. The remote control allows you to turn the air cleaner ON or OFF, set a timer, and to change the running speed (LOW, MED, HIGH). TOP VIEW Check to make sure all of the plastic is removed from the supplied filters and that they are properly in place. Place the air purifier on a hard suface in a vertical position.
10 11 4. MAINT ENANCE REPLACING THE FILTER When the filter light is illuminated, turn the unit off and unplug it from the power outlet. Press buttons on the side of the unit to release front cover. Rotate top down and remove. ! CAUTION! ! Remove the used filter. Note: The odor filter is attached with a hook and loop closure to the main filter. TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM MOVING PARTS–UNPLUG BEFORE SERVICING. Remove the packaging from the new filters and place into the unit.

24 25 3. F UNCIONAMIENTO CÓMO COMENZAR Revise y verifique que todo el plástico haya sido extraído de los filtros provistos, y que estos se encuentren colocados correctamente en sus lugares. Este filtro de aire cuenta con un control remoto para mayor comodidad. El control remoto le permite activar el aire más limpio o desactivar, establecer un temporizador, y permite cambiar la velocidad de carrera (LOW, MED, HIGH). Coloque el purificador de aire sobre una superficie firme, en posición vertical.
26 27 4. M ANT ENIMIENTO REEMPLAZO DEL FILTRO Cuando la luz del filtro se encienda, apague la unidad y desenchúfela del tomacorriente. Presione los botones en el lateral de la unidad para liberar la cubierta frontal. Gírela de arriba hacia abajo y extráigala. Extraiga el filtro usado. Nota: El filtro de olores está sujeto con un amarre de enganche al filtro principal.
28 5. RESO LUCIÓN D E PROBLEMAS Con frecuencia, los problemas de mantenimiento pueden resolverse fácilmente. Esta guía puede serle de utilidad para resolver su problema. Problema Verificar Qué hacer • • • • • • Que el cable de alimentación esté firmemente enchufado en el tomacorriente. Que haya voltaje en el tomacorriente. Que no haya un fusible quemado o disyuntor activado. Que el temporizador no se haya desactivado. Que la cubierta frontal no esté floja. Que el filtro no esté flojo.

40 41 3. F O NCT IONNEMENT PREMIERS PAS Assurez-vous que tout le plastique est enlevé des filtres fournis et que ces derniers sont bien en place. Ce filtre à air dispose d’une télécommande pour plus de commodité. La télécommande vous permet d’activer le filtre à air ON ou OFF, réglez une minuterie, et de modifier la vitesse de fonctionnement (LOW, MED, HIGH). Placez le purificateur d'air sur une surface dure en position verticle.
42 43 4. ENT RET IEN REMPLACER LE FILTRE Lorsque le voyant de filtre s'allume, éteignez l'appareil, puis débranchezle de la prise murale. Appuyez sur les boutons aux côtés de l'appareil pour ouvrir le couvercle. Faites glisser le couvercle vers le bas pour le retirer. Retirez le filtre usé. Remarque : Le filtre anti-odeurs est fixé au filtre principal avec une fermeture auto-agrippante .
