How To Setup Help

I try to help people with this document who don't know how to setup the Orange ShortRange

Telemetry Transmitter.

In my example I use a Spektrum DX8 and an AR8000 Receiver / but this also is possible with any

other Orange Receiver for example...

I was wondering how to bind this thing due to the bind label but I couldn't see any button directly.

When you open the housing you can find it:

So the Bind „button“ is the middle nose on the upper side of the box.

You don't need to open the case as I did – If you press the lets call it „hidden“ button you will feel

the switch.

So lets connect the orange telemetry box with in my case the AR8000:

As you see from top of the orange box MINUS is on the

right side.

You should know where minus is on your receivers servo

connection – this may differ!

I here didn't attach any sensor to the orange box – this

comes later...

So now I add the Bind Plug to the Bind slot on the Receiver: It looks now like on the right side. It maybe also possible to do that completly seperatly from the receiver with another power source – I use the receiver for the power and I didn't test it yet else. Now keep the bind „hidden“ button of the orange pressed when you enpower the system. They should both blink now...

the voltage of our testlipo here... And: Volia... On my workbench it works like a charm – just put the temp sensor between the fingers and look how the temps increasing... I didn't had a chance yet to check the distance (weather) but I am currently happy due to the low price!! I hope this helps you – maybe it's too detailed but I wanna make sure anyone gets the possibility to see all steps even without deeper experience in RC or TX programming.
