Setup guide for Orange ORX SRT module

In this guide a Spektrum DX8 and an AR8000 receiver is used. A later setup using a

Spektrum DX9 and an AR6100e worked equally well.

The bind button is a bit tricky to find. When you open the housing you can see it:

The bind button is hinged plastic and can be pressed, without opening the case

Connect the orange telemetry module to any

free port on your receiver, if you use a 6ch

receiver and have no free ports, then connect to

the GEAR port while setting up. After the whole

setup is complete you can connect the orange

telemetry module to the BIND port on your

receiver, which also has power out.

Please NOTE that MINUS is to the RIGHT on

the orange telemetry module; therefor make

sure that the black/brown wire is connected far

right.

Also make sure to identify MINUS on your

receiver.

How to BIND the orange telemetry module: First of all make sure to BIND your receiver to your radio. If already bound then insert the BIND plug in the BIND port. The tricky part is now to connect your battery, while pressing the BIND button the orange telemetry module at the same time.
