3.5 Collect information for troubleshooting

The following information is helpful in the event of a failure.

Oracle information

● Setup file

$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/*.ora

$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/*.ora

$ORACLE_BASE/admin/$ORACLE_SID/pfile/*.ora

● Logging file

$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/log/alert_$ORACLE_SID.log

$ORACLE_BASE/admin/$ORACLE_SID/bdump/alert_$ORACLE_SID.log

$ORACLE_HOME/network/log/<ListenerName>.log

PRIMECLUSTER information

You can collect information by executing the “collecting information for troubleshooting”

command of PRIMECLUSTER. Refer to “PRIMECLUSTER Configuration and

Administration Guide”.
