Setting Good Read Notification
When the barcode scanner successfully decodes a reading, you can set
the H-21 to notify you with a sound effect, vibration, both, or none.
1. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Scanner Setting > Basic Settings.
2. Select the desired notification from the drop down menu under Good read
notification.
3. Change the sound effect by selecting from the drop down menu under
Sound.
4. Tap OK to save and exit.
Selecting Recognized Barcode Types
The H-21 is capable of scanning and decoding various barcode types. To
select or deselect the barcode types to scan for, perform the following steps:
1. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Scanner Setting > Code Options.
2. Select the check box next to the barcode types you want the reader to
recognize.
3. Deselect the check box next to the barcode types you don’t want the
reader to recognize.
4. Tap OK to save and exit.
Scanning and Reading Barcode Labels
The H-21 can scan and decode barcode labels. If you prefer to read a
barcode on your device right after scanning, open an application in which letters
and numbers can be displayed before you activate the barcode reader.
