Telephone Shortcuts
You can control what happens to incoming telephone calls. For example you can divert all calls to
another telephone number. The configuration for this is done in the web interface, see “Changing
telephone settings” on page 31.
Once the call configuration is done (e.g. the telephone number to divert to) you can enable and disable
this facility from the telephone handset:

Staying connected.
You can use GlobeSurfer III+ to make phone calls, surf the Internet and use e-mail just as if your
computer is always connected. There is no need to login to the GlobeSurfer III+ management console to
use those features. If you want to change settings or use SMS then you have to login. See ‘Using the
management console’ on page 29.
If it does not connect automatically, then use the checklist below to connect your GlobeSurfer III+ to
the Internet.
Step 1: Make sure that the power adapter is connected, GlobeSurfer III+ is on and the SIM card is
inserted correctly.
Step 2: Open an Internet browser on your computer and click the bookmark to GlobeSurfer III, or type
http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
