Please note: Due to the single USB port on the GlobeSurfer

III device, it is highly

recommended that external hard drives be separately powered. For external hard

drives that require power over their USB cable, it is highly recommended that the

hard drive be connected to the GlobeSurfer

III device while the GlobeSurfer

III is

turned off. In the event an external hard drive is connected to the GlobeSurfer

III

while it is turned on, the sudden power drain on the GlobeSurfer

III device while

the external hard drive initially powers up, may cause the GlobeSurfer

III to hang.
