• To delete an SMS:
1. Select the ‘SIM card’ tab.
2. Click the ‘Remove’ icon, for the message that you want to delete. The SMS
is permanently removed without confirmation.
• To delete an open SMS:
1. Select the ‘SIM card’ tab.
2. Select a message to read it.
3. Click ‘Delete’: the SMS is permanently removed without confirmation.
Administration Basics
The basic configuration of GlobeSurfer
®
III is done in the ‘Quick Setup’. There may
be other configuration settings required in everyday use. These are accessed using
the web-based Graphical User Interface as described below.
For advanced users and network administrators there are many other settings and
parameters that you can change. For example: to set up Virtual Private Networks
(VPN), to enable corporate grade security settings, system monitoring and diagnos-
tics. These settings are described in the ‘Reference Manual’.
Some information is also available in the ‘Online help’. Click ‘Help’ in the upper
right-hand corner of each page to open a new browser window containing help
instructions.
