Step 9: Set the Date and time

This information is conﬁgured within the Installation Guide, but should you

want or need to change it, follow these instructions:

1. Enter the “Advanced Mode” in the GlobeSurfer

III Graphical User Interface.

2. Select the ‘System’ tab from the navigation buttons

3. Select ‘Settings’ from the sub-menu, and ‘Date and Time’ from the right

hand side sub-menu

4. Select your time zone from the pull-down menu. GlobeSurfer

III will auto-

matically detect the daylight saving times for the time zone.

5. 12/24 hour mode: Select 12 or 24 hours.

6.Click‘Apply’or‘OK’tosavethesesettingstoGlobeSurfer

III

Note: GlobeSurfer

III is conﬁgured to synchronise the time automatically

using the Network Time Protocol (NTP) and will do so as soon as it connects

to the Internet.
