THE GLOBESURFER

III FRONT PANEL DISPLAY

1. The ﬁve bars indicate the mobile signal strength.

2. New SMS received. If a blinking red exclamation mark appears next to it, the

SMS memory is full. Selecting this icon will display the SMS messages on

screen. For multiple SMS messages, continued pressing of the left button will

cycle through the messages until all have been displayed.

Tip: delete a few messages to leave space to receive more.

3. Phone icon indicates missed calls. For multiple missed calls, continued

pressing of the left button will cycle through the missed calls (with telephone

numbers if CLI was sent) until all have been displayed.

4. Number of connected computers associated with GlobeSurfer

III via the

WLAN. Selecting this option will display the names and IP addresses of the

users currently connected.
