Cisco Cius User Guide 11
Depending on your security settings, Cisco Cius may require you to enter a personal identification
number (PIN) or a password to unlock the screen. Note that until the PIN or password is entered on
the Unlock screen, you cannot place calls other than emergency calls.
Add a PIN
1. Tap the Applications Menu icon on the home screen.
2. Tap Settings .
3. Tap Location & Security.
4. Tap Set Up Screen Lock.
5. Tap PIN.
6. Enter a PIN and tap OK. Your PIN must be at least four digits.
7. Enter your PIN again and tap OK to confirm your PIN.
Add a Password
1. Tap the Applications Menu icon on the home screen.
2. Tap Settings .
3. Tap Location & Security.
4. Tap Set Up Screen Lock.
5. Tap Password.
6. Enter a password and tap OK. Your password must be at least four characters.
7. Enter your password again and tap OK to confirm your password.
Reset a Lost PIN or Password
1. Tap the Forgot PIN? or Forgot Password? button on the Unlock screen.
2. Select an account on the left side of the screen and enter your account credentials on the right side
of the screen.
3. Reset your PIN or password. Your Cisco Cius is now unlocked and your new PIN or password is
ready to use.
Place an Emergency Call from the Unlock Screen
Tap the Emergency Call button.
Set Screen Timeout
1. Tap the Applications Menu icon on the home screen.
2. Tap Settings .
