2) Sum the contents of the cells in the Amount column and put the result in cell <C6>.

a) Select cell <C6>.
b) Click on the Sum icon “∑” in the Object bar. The Object bar changes and displays
the Sum function: sum(<D2>|<D3>!<D4>!<D5>). Press the Enter key.

3) Compute the Value Added Tax and put the result in cell <C7> (See Figure 29
a) Select the cell <C7> and type =.
b) Click on cell <C6>.
c) Type: *12% .
d) Press the Enter key.
