RESETTING THE HELMET HEADSET RIDER WIRELESS CONNECTION

WITH THE CONTROL BOX

To reset the wireless connection between the Helmet Headset Rider and the Control Box

complete the following steps:

1. Long press the HHR Multi Function Button for approximately 10 seconds until the

status light quickly blinks red and blue.

2. Power On the Control Box, ensure the Control Box HHR Button is switched to ON.

3. The Control Box HHR status light will quickly blink red.

4. The Helmet Headset Rider and the Control Box will automatically connect.

 When successfully reset and reconnected the Control Box HHR status light will

display a still blue light with a blinking red light and the Helmet Headset Rider status

light will display a steady single blinking blue light.

RESETTING THE HELMET HEADSET PASSENGER WIRELESS CONNECTION

WITH THE CONTROL BOX

The procedure for resetting the wireless connection between the Helmet Headset Passenger

and the Control Box is similar to resetting the Helmet Headset Rider; complete the following

steps:

1. Ensure the Helmet Headset Rider is connected to the Control Box.

2. Wait approximately 10 seconds for the Control Box HHP status light to display a

blinking red light.

3. Long press the HHP Multi Function Button for approximately 10 seconds until the

status light quickly blinks red and blue.

4. Switch the Control Box HHP switch OFF and ON.

5. The Helmet Headset Passenger and the Control Box will automatically connect.

 When successfully reset and reconnected the Control Box HHP status light will

display a still blue light with a blinking red light and the Helmet Headset Passenger

status light will display a steady single blinking blue light.

NOTE: If you pair the Helmet Headset directly with your Bluetooth equipped mobile phone

or navigation device it is recommended to delete any stored paring information on the

mobile phone or navigation device before connecting with the Control Box MPR or Other

connection.

INSTALLING THE HELMET HEADSET

When installing the Helmet Headset on your helmet make sure that you install the Helmet

Headset Rider (HHR) on the Rider’s helmet and the Helmet Headset Passenger (HHP) on the

Passenger’s helmet; the Helmet Headset always installs on the left side of your helmet.

There are two options for installing the Helmet Headset.

OPTION ONE – INSTALLATION USING THE HELMET HEADSET CLIP

To install the Helmet Headset using the Helmet Headset Clip complete the following steps:

1. Position the Headset Back Plate between the internal padding and the external shell

of your helmet.

2. Position the Headset Clip on the outside of your helmet and align the screw holes

with the Headset Back Plate; using the Hex Key tighten the screws until the Headset

Clip is secure.
