The Author

Thilo Hutzler

was born in 1964 in Nurenberg.

He studied German philology, history, sociology

and politics in Erlangen. About 20 of his game

ideas have already been published by different

editors.

Gerda Gacker is his first game for

HABA.

Thilo Hutzler lives with his wife Andrea and

his sons Christian and Tobias in Donauwörth,

where he works as teacher in a junior high

school.

I dedicate Gerda Gacker to my best game testers and favorite game

mates Christian and Tobias.

The Illustrator

Andreas von Frajer

was born in 1971 in

Duderstadt. He finished his studies in commu-

nication design & illustration at the Media and

Design College in Hannover. Andreas von Frajer

is the creator, author and illustrator of many

adorable characters, stories and pictures which

he has brought to life for children books, game

publishers and business companies.

He lives with his wife Nina and their sons

Moritz and Henry in Isernhagen.

Gerda Gacker

is the first game he has illustrated for HABA.

I dedicate the illustrations of the cackering hens to my sons Moritz

and Henry.
