TheHOBOU14requiresthreeAAAbatteries.OnsetComputerCorporationstronglyrecommendstheuseoffreshalkaline
batteries.BatteriesshouldbereplacedwhentheBATTLEVELbargraphisdowntoonesegment,whichindicates20%batterylife
orless.Toensuredataintegrity,useHOBOwaretoreadoutthelogger
andstoploggingbeforechangingbatteries.
ReplacingtheInternalRHSensor(ModelU14‐001Only)
TheinternalrelativehumiditysensorintheU14‐001loggermayrequirereplacementifitisdamagedmechanicallyorby
exposuretocondensationorchemicals.Thereplacementsensor(PartNo.HUM‐RHPCB‐3A)isavailablefromOnsetoranOnset
AuthorizedDealerforU14‐001loggerswithserialnumbersabove9847173.
