About UP-AR1
The UP-AR1 connects to Onkyo’s network-capable
audio components equipped with a universal port*
(referred to as Main device below), and allows
wireless playback of iOS-based devices or iTunes
music library using Apple Inc.’s AirPlay.
* Compatible with new-series (TX-NRxx9 and higher) Onkyo
AV receivers. (A firmware update is required on some AV
receiver models.)

Note
To use AirPlay, you will need one of the following
equipments.
iPad
, iPhone, iPod touch with iOS 4.2 or greater.
A personal computer with iTunes 10 (or greater)
installed.
Tip
For optimal performance, we recommend you
always use the latest version of iOS and iTunes.
