Remote Controller--Continued

@ FR & FF [-4_]/[_,_] buttons

The FR [-q_l ] button is used to start fast reverse. Tile

FF [_D,-] button is used to start fast forward.

@ Stop [I] button

This button is used to stop playback.

@ RANDOM button

This button is used with the random playback func-

tion.

@ MEMORY button

This button is used with tile memory playback func-

tion, which allows you to create a custom playlist of

tracks.

TAPE mode is used to control an Onkyo cassette

recorder connected to the AV receiver via r_l.

To set the remote controller to TAPE mode, press the

[TAPE] REMOTE MODE button.

For double cassette decks, only Deck B can be con-

trolled.

1 Play [1_] button

This button is used to start playback.

2 Previous & Next [I.*q ]/[_H] buttons

The Previous [I,*_ 1 button is used to select the pre-

vious track. During playback it selects the begin-

ning of the current track. The Next I uH,.I1button is

used to select the next track.

The Previous and Next [1<',111/[I_11 buttons may not

work properly with some cassette tapes depending

on how they were recorded.

3 Reverse Play [<1] button

This button is used to start reverse playback.

4 REC [O] button

This button is used to start recording.

5 VOL button

This button is used to adjust the volume of the AV

receiver.

6 MUTING button

This button is used to mute the AV receiver.

7 Rewind & FF [<<]/[=,_] buttons

The Rewind I._ll button is used to start rewind. The

FF Im,a_] button is used to start fi_st forward.

8 Stop [I] button

This button is used to stop phtyback.
