Round numbers are for MD/CDR mode.
Square numbers are for TAPE mode.
MD/CDR mode is used to control an Onkyo MiniDisc
recorder or CD recorder connected to the AV receiver via

By default, this button is set to control a MiniDisc
recorder. To control a CD recorder, it must be set to CD
(see page 80).
@ ON button
This button is used to set tile MD recorder or CD
recorder to On or Standby.
@ Number buttons
These buttons are used to enter track numbers and
to enter times for locating specific points in time.
@ DISPLAY button
This button is used to display infornlation about the
current disc or track on the MD recorder or CD
recorder's display, including the elapsed time,
remaining time, total time, and so on.
@ Play [1_1 button
This bntton is used to start phtyback.
@ Previous & Next [I,=<]/[_1] buttons
Tile Previous [_1.< ] button is used to select tile pre-
vious track. During playback it selects the begin-
ning of the current track. The Next I_='1] button is
used to select the next track.
@ Pause [111button
This button is used to pause playback.
REC [O] button
This button is used to start recording.

This button is used to set tile repeat phtyback func-
tions.
@ OPEN/CLOSE [_] button
This button is used to eject a MiniDisc or to open
and close the CD recorder's disc tray.
@ CLEAR button
This button is used to cancel functions and to clear
entered numbers.
@ VOk button

@ MUTING button
