Phase-Matching Bass Enhancement
PM Bass optimizes low frequencies while preserving
mid-range clarity. It counters phase shifting (which generally
occurs in the zone occupied by vocals) by synchronizing the
timing of different frequencies. The result is deep, well-dened
bass that won’t blur vocals or strings.
AccuEQ Room Calibration
Room acoustic calibration is simple and effective with AccuEQ.
Connect the included mic and wait a few moments as it
measures speaker distances, crossovers, and output levels,
taking into account reections from your walls and oor.
The system optimizes the frequency response so you can
enjoy balanced surround sound regardless of room shape or
furnishings.
Hybrid Standby Saves Power
HDMI passthrough and network connectivity are maintained
while the receiver is powered down. You can use your TV and
other connected devices when you don’t want to turn on the
receiver, which saves energy. The HT-S5700 is also Smart
Grid-compliant.
