If you select 2 Channel, the setup is complete and the Initial Setup menu closes.

If the resolution exceeds 640 x 480, a preview will only be shown if the file contains thumbnail image data.

Advanced Playback—Continued Turning Off the Video Circuits You can turn off all of the internal video circuitry, eliminating the possibility of interference for a pure-audio experience when playing audio-only discs. 1 VIDEO CIRCUIT OFF 2 Press the DV-CP802’s [VIDEO CIRCUIT OFF] button. The internal video circuitry is turned off, the [VIDEO CIRCUIT OFF] button indicator lights up, and the V.OFF indicator appears on the display. Notes: • This setting has no effect on the analog audio outputs.
Configuring the DV-CP802—Continued Analog Audio Out With this setting you can configure the FRONT/D.MIX, SURR 1/SURR 2, CENTER, and SUBWOOFER AUDIO OUTPUTs for use with a 2-channel amp or a multichannel amp. ■ 2 Channel Choose this option if you’re connecting just the FRONT/D.MIX AUDIO OUTPUTs to a stereo amp. Multichannel audio will be downmixed into 2 channels and output by the FRONT/D.MIX AUDIO OUTPUTs.

When you play a disc with menus available in several languages, your preferred language will be selected automatically.

On (default): Onscreen messages on. Operation Menu Pause/Still DVD-V The Pause/Still setting determines how still pictures are displayed when playback is paused and when frame-byframe playback is used. Auto (default) A frame or field is displayed depending on the disc.
