The chapters or tracks of the disc are played in random order.
Press RANDOM while stopped.
RANDOM indicator lights up.
■ To cancel random play
Press RANDOM while stopped so that RANDOM indicator goes
off.
Each time you press RANDOM , random play will be on and off.
Notes
• You cannot play DVDs in random order.
• When playing a PBC compatible Video CD with PBC on, you
cannot use this function.
To use this function, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU first.
• In Random play, Reverse skip is not possible. You can only skip
forward.
Desired disc or title can be played back repeatedly.
Press REPEAT repeatedly.
Each time you press REPEAT , the repeat option changes.
At the time of DVD playback
→ CHAPTER REPEAT ON Repeats the current chapter.
↓
TITLE REPEAT ON Repeats the current title.
↓
REPEAT OFF Resumes normal playback.
At the time of Video CD/CD playback
→ REPEAT ONE Repeats the current track.
↓
REPEAT ALL Repeats the entire disc.
↓
REPEAT OFF Resumes normal playback.
Note
With DVD, the REPEAT button functions only for playback.
■ To cancel repeat play
Press REPEAT so that REPEAT indicator goes off.
Notes
• When playing a PBC compatible Video CD with PBC on, you
cannot use this function.
To use this function, turn PBC off by pressing TOP MENU first.
• With some DVDs, repeat playback may not be possible.
• For playing MP3, WMA or JPEG files repeatedly, see page 20.
■ To repeat program play
During program playback, press the REPEAT button on the
remote controller.
Each press of the button switches the mode.
