Using the RI Dock—Continued Operating Notes: • The RI Dock must be connected to your AV receiver/amp with both an cable and an audio cable to use the functions. • If your AV receiver/amp doesn’t support the System On, System Off, Auto Power On, and Direct Change functions, you’ll need to turn your AV receiver/amp on and off and select the input source manually. • Before you select another input source, stop iPod playback to prevent your AV receiver/amp from selecting the iPod input source by mistake.
Using the RI Dock—Continued Using Your Amp’s Remote Controller The following table shows which buttons on your amp’s remote controller you can use to control your iPod while it’s in the RI Dock. Be sure to select the appropriate remote mode first, and point your remote controller at your amp. Note that some buttons may be labelled differently, and some remote controllers may not have certain buttons.
Troubleshooting ■ There’s no sound • Make sure your iPod is actually playing. • Make sure your iPod is inserted properly in the RI Dock. • Make sure the RI Dock is connected to the correct input jacks on your AV receiver/amp. Do not connect it to any output jacks. • Make sure your AV receiver/amp is turned on, the correct input source is selected, and the volume is turned up. • Make sure the plugs are pushed in all the way.

Gebruik van het RI Dock Plaatsen van de iPod in het RI Dock 1. Sluit de adapter aan. 2. Schakel de AV-receiver/versterker in en kies de geschikte ingangen op uw AV-receiver/ versterker. 3. Lijn de iPod uit met de iPod-sleuf van het RI Dock en schuif de iPod voorzichtig in de sleuf (zie de afbeelding). Gebruik van het RI Dock—Vervolg Opmerkingen betreffende de bediening: • De -functies werken alleen, wanneer het RI Dock met behulp van een - en een audiokabel op de AV-receiver/versterker is aangesloten. • Als uw AV-receiver/versterker de “Systeem aan”-, “Systeem uit”-, “Automatisch uitschakelen”- en “Directe overschakeling”-functies niet snapt, moet u de AVreceiver/versterker met de hand in-/uitschakelen en telkens de juiste ingangsbron kiezen.
Gebruik van het RI Dock—Vervolg Gebruik van de afstandsbediening van de versterker De onderstaande tabel toont welke toetsen op de afstandsbediening van de versterker gebruikt kunnen worden voor de bediening van de iPod terwijl deze in het RI Dock is geplaatst. Stel eerst de juiste afstandsbedieningsmode in en richt dan de afstandsbediening naar de versterker. Sommige toetsen zijn misschien van een ander opschrift voorzien. Bovendien is het mogelijk dat sommige afstandsbedieningen bepaalde toetsen missen.
Storingen verhelpen ■ Er is geen geluid. • Controleer of de iPod wel aan het afspelen is. • Controleer of de iPod correct in het RI Dock werd geplaatst. • Ga na of het RI Dock op de juiste ingangen van de AV-receiver/versterker is aangesloten. Sluit het apparaat nooit op uitgangen aan. • Ga na of de AV-receiver ingeschakeld is, of u de juiste bron gekozen hebt en of het volume niet te laag staat. • Controleer of alle stekkers volledig in de aansluitbussen zijn gestoken.

Användning av RI-dockan—Fortsättning Användning av fjärrkontrollen till förstärkaren Följande tabell visar vilka knappar på fjärrkontrollen till en förstärkare som kan användas till att manövrera iPod-spelaren medan den är placerad i RI-dockan. Kontrollera att korrekt manövreringsläge är valt på förstärkarens fjärrkontroll och rikta fjärrkontrollen mot förstärkaren. Notera att en del knappar kan vara märkta annorlunda och att en del fjärrkontroller kanske inte har alla knappar.
Felsökning ■ Inget ljud hörs. • Kontrollera att uppspelning pågår på iPod-spelaren. • Kontrollera att iPod-spelaren är korrekt isatt i RI Dock. • Kontrollera att RI-dockan är ansluten till de rätta ingångarna på AV-receivern/förstärkaren. Anslut den inte till några utgångar. • Kontrollera att AV-receivern/förstärkaren är påslagen, korrekt ingångskälla är vald och volymen är uppskruvad. • Kontrollera att alla kontakter är ordentligt anslutna.
