Firmware Update for the BD-SP809
We are pleased to offer this firmware update for the best possible performance of your Blu-ray Player.
A firmware update is now available through the Network or USB connections on the BD-SP809.
The 5/20/2014 update will address the following items:
1. Improves the playability of particular Blu-ray discs
To check current version, Home Menu -> Setting -> Others -> Product Info and below screen will show
For the product that have "*" mark to the end of version

For the product that does not have "*" mark to the end of version

The 10/26/2012 update will address the following items:
2. Improves the playability of particular DVD discs
The 4/11/12 update will address the following items:
1. Adds support of 3D movies on Vudu;
2. *Vudu is only available to USA customers
3. Incorporates Cinavia™ content protection system
4. Improves the playability of particular DVD/Blu-ray discs
5. Delete icon of Blockbuster

The 10/31/2011 update will address the following items:
1. Corrects operation of "Power on/standby" of the remote control when player is set to "Quick Start Mode:
On" or "Power On Control: Enable"
