•Have a Phillips screw driver (large or medium) avail-

able.

• Assemble the product on a carpet or mat so that the

ﬂoor and/or the stand will not become scratched or

damaged.

• Before starting assembly, make sure that you have all

the parts by referred to in the parts list and assembly

diagram.

• Be careful not to scratch the speaker when you install

the speaker on the speaker stand.

AS-1E.fm Page 2 Thursday, July 20, 2006 10:40 AM Assembling the speaker stand Attach the additional top panel to the original top panel by inserting and tightening the additional top panel screws in the appropriate screw holes in accordance with the size of the speaker. Secure the D-312E speaker to the stand. Use the speaker affixing screws and teflon washers to install and secure the speaker to the stand, as shown in the illustration. Maintenance Insert the spikes into the spike holes in the base.
