Network Setup—Continued
IP Address
Class A: “10.0.0.0” to “10.255.255.255”
Class B: “172.16.0.0” to “172.31.255.255”
Class C: “192.168.0.0” to “192.168.255.255”
Enter a static IP address provided by your ISP. Most
routers use Class C IP addresses.
Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask address provided by your ISP
(typically 255.255.255.0).
Gateway
Enter the gateway address provided by your ISP.
DNS Server
Enter a DNS server address provided by your ISP.
Proxy URL
To use a Web proxy, enter its URL here.
Proxy Port
If you’re using a Web proxy, enter a proxy port number
here.

Disconnect the AC adapter and disconnect
the Ethernet cable. Then raise the wireless
LAN antenna, wait ten seconds, and
reconnect the AC adapter.

Press the remote controller’s [MENU]
button, select “Standby Mode,” and press
[ENTER].

Select “Network Mode” and press [ENTER].
(The orange LED will light.)

Press [MENU], select “Network Setup,” and
press [ENTER].
Wait while the display indicates “initializing...

Select “Wireless” and press [ENTER].
The ABX-N300 will search for access points.

Choose the access point that you want to
use, and press [ENTER].

Choose the security method for that access
point, and press [ENTER].

Use the following buttons to enter the
passcode.
[Q]/[R]: Move the cursor left/right
[ENTER]: Enter one character
[F]/[H]: Switch between character groups
(uppercase/lowercase/numerals
and symbols)
[O]: Backspace
[ENTER]: long press:Confirm the passcode

Hold down [ENTER] for three seconds.
The passcode will be confirmed. This completes
the setup.
Tip:
If a connection is not established even though you've
waited three minutes or longer, it may be that the
passcode was incorrect. In this case, try making the
settings once again from the beginning.
However, if you have made the settings several times
without success, disconnect the AC adaptor, wait at least
ten seconds before reconnecting it, and then try making
the settings again.

Put the ABX-N300 in Standby mode (the
orange LED will be lit).
If the orange LED does not light, perform steps

and
3
above.

Press [MENU], choose “Network Info,” and
press [ENTER].
The ABX-N300’s IP address will be displayed.

Start up a browser on a computer that’s
connected to the same network, and enter
the IP address of step
2
into the URL field
of your browser to access it.
The Web Setup Menu screen will appear. Here you
can edit the ABX-N300’s name that is shown when
using AirPlay, or update the firmware.
Caution:
A router (access point) is required.
Your iPhone and the ABX-N300 must be connected to
the same network within the router. Also when using
AirPlay with iTunes, that computer must be connected
to the same network.
