When your blood glucose test result is
outside the range of 90–130 mg/dL or
the personal glucose range you set in
Custom Meter Set-up Sequence, the
meter will prompt you to add a comment.
When your blood glucose test result
is in the range of 240 mg/dL to
600 mg/dL, “Check Ketones” will
appear on the meter display. This
message does not mean that the
system detected ketones but that
testing with a ketone test strip may
be advisable. Consult your healthcare
professional about when and how to
test for ketones. “Comment? Press OK”
will also appear.

Do you need a snack?

When your blood glucose result is from
20 mg/dL through 59 mg/dL, “Do you
need a snack?” will appear on the
display with the test result, reminding
you that a meal or snack may be
necessary.
