OPERATION
BLUETOOTH
®
enableddevicesmustbewithin30ft.of
theradioandsettosearch/scaninordertopairwiththe
radio.
Select“HartRadio”fromyourdevice’slistofavailable
BLUETOOTH
®
signalstopairthedeviceandtheradio.
NopasswordorPINisrequiredforconnection.
Whenthedevicehassuccessfullypairedwiththeradio,
theword“BLUE”willstopflashing.
NOTE:Whenadeviceispairedtotheradio,information
for connecting to the device is saved in the radio’s
memory.
When streaming audio from a BLUETOOTH
®
enabled
device,presstheSCANleftandrightarrowbuttonsto
gotothepreviousornexttrack.Brieflypressandrelease
the PRESETbuttontocyclebetweenpausingandplaying
theaudio.
NOTE: These controls may not be supported by the
BLUETOOTH
®
deviceand/orapplicationyouareusing.
AllBLUETOOTH
®
enableddevicecontrolscanbeused
normallywhilepairedtotheradio.
NOTE: Volumeforanydevicepairedtotheradiocanbe
adjustedusingthevolumecontrolforthatdeviceorby
usingtheradio’sVOLUME up or VOLUME downbutton.
To disconnect the BLUETOOTH
®
enabled device,
press and hold the PRESET button. When the device
isdisconnected,“BLUE”willbeginflashingintheLCD
display and the radio will begin searching for another
device.
USING THE USB DEDICATED CHARGING
PORT
TheUSBdedicatedchargingportprovideschargingpower
of5VoltsDCatupto1Ampforyourcellphone,MP3player,
orotherUSBdevices.
NOTICE:
Attemptingtochargedevicesratedmorethan1Amp,
such as a tablet, could damage the USB dedicated
chargingportand/orthedevice.
ConnectoneendofaUSBcable(notprovided)toyour
USBdevice.
ConnecttheotherendoftheUSBcable(notprovided)to
theUSBdedicatedchargingporttobeginchargingthe
device.
NOTE: The USB dedicated charging port provides
poweronly;itdoesnotprovideanydatacommunication
capabilities.
If the radio containsa charged battery pack, theUSB
dedicated charging port will continue to function for
approximately1hourafterturningtheradioOFF.Ifthe
radioremainsinactiveafterthistime,chargingwillstop.
Turntheradioontoresumeoperation.

When servicing, use only identical replacementparts.
Useof anyotherpart could createahazardorcause
productdamage.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plasticsaresusceptibletodamagefromvarioustypesof
commercialsolventsandmaybedamagedbytheiruse.Use
cleanclothstoremovedirt,dust,oil,grease,etc.
WARNING:
Donotatanytimeletbrakefluids,gasoline,petroleum-
basedproducts,penetratingoils,etc.,comeincontact
withplasticparts.Chemicalscandamage,weakenor
destroy plastic which can result in serious personal
injury.
