Installing the Batteries Your URC-9040 requires 2 new “AAA/LR03” alkaline batteries. 1. Remove the battery cover from the back of your URC-9040 by pressing down on the tab. 2. Match the batteries to the + and - marks inside the battery case, then insert the batteries. 3. Press the battery cover back into place. T h e L e a r n i n g F e a t u re The URC-9040 comes with a complete library of pre-programmed codes. After you have set up the URC-9040 for your device, you may find that there are one or more keys that you had on your original remote, which do not have a place on the URC-9040 keypad. As a convenience, the URC-9040 offers a special Learning feature that allows you to copy any function from your original remote control onto the keypad of the URC-9040.

T h e L e a r n i n g F e a t u re - During steps 2 - 7 (page 10), you have approximately 10 seconds to conduct each step. If there is a gap of more than 10 seconds between two steps, you will have to start again from step number 2. The Learning feature is mode specific. Therefore you can place one learned feature per mode on the same key. The URC-9040 can learn approximately 25 - 40 functions (depending on the function to be learned). Memory full will be indicated by two long blinks.

Volume Punch Through allows you to use the volume from another mode without having to select this. E.g. controlling your TV volume while being in STB mode. Die Lernfunktion Die URC-9040 wird mit einer vollständigen Bibliothek vorprogrammierter Codes geliefert. Wenn Sie die URC-9040 für Ihr Gerät eingerichtet haben, stellen Sie möglicherweise fest, dass eine oder mehrere Tasten, die Sie auf Ihrer ursprünglichen Fernbedienung hatten, auf dem Tastenfeld der URC-9040 nicht vorhanden sind.

Die Lernfunktion - Bei Schritt 2 - 7 (Seite 28) haben Sie etwa 10 Sekunden Zeit für die einzelnen Schritte. Wenn die Pause zwischen zwei Schritten mehr als 10 Sekunden beträgt, müssen Sie wieder mit Schritt 2 beginnen. Die Lernfunktion ist modusspezifisch. Sie können also pro Modus die dafür vorgesehenen Tasten unterschiedlich programmieren. Die URC-9040 kann etwa 25 - 40 Funktionen lernen (die genaue Anzahl ist von der zu lernenden Funktion abhängig).

Zusätzliche Funktionen L a u t s t ä r k e - D i re k t b e d i e n u n g Wenn auf Ihrem Gerät keine Lautstärkefunktion vorhanden ist, bedienen Sie damit die Lautstärke des Geräts, mit dem die AUDIO-Taste belegt ist. Mit der Lautstärke-Direktbedienung können Sie die Lautstärke eines anderen Modus verwenden, ohne diesen zu wählen. Beispiel: Einstellen der Lautstärke des Fernsehgeräts, während Sie sich im STB- Modus befinden.

Cuando haya configurado el URC-9040 para su aparato, podría constatar que su mando original tiene una o más teclas que no tienen un sitio en el teclado del URC-9040. Para su comodidad, el URC-9040 le ofrece una función especiál de “aprendizaje”, que le permite copiar cualquier función de su mando a distancia original en el teclado de su mando URC-9040.

Dopo aver impostato il URC-9040 per il Vostro apparecchio, potreste scoprire che uno o più tasti presenti sul Vostro telecomando originale non sono presenti sulla tastiera del URC-9040. Il URC-9040 con la speciale “Procedura d’apprendimento” è in grado di copiare quasi tutte le funzioni del telecomando originale sulla propria tastiera.

Per esempio, regolare il volume della TV senza selezionare la modalità STB.

Voor uw gemak biedt de URC-9040 een speciale leerfunctie waarmee u alle functies van uw originele afstandsbediening kunt kopiëren naar de URC-9040.

L e e rf u n c t i e - Bij stap 2 - 7 (pagina 118) heeft u ongeveer 10 seconden om elke stap uit te voeren. Als er een pauze van meer dan 10 seconden is tussen twee stappen, moet u opnieuw beginnen vanaf stap 2. De leerfunctie is modusspecifiek. Daarom kunt u per toets één geleerde functie onder een toets plaatsen. De URC-9040 kan ongeveer 25 - 40 functies leren (afhankelijk van de te leren functie). Als het geheugen vol is, wordt dit aangegeven door tweemaal langdurig knipperen.
