1) Starting at a lower corner place the eave closure strip on
the roof deck 1” up from the edge, then lay the Duraline
Sheet on the roof allowing 1”-1 ¾” overhang at the eave and
aligning the outside edge. Fasten the sheet at the eave from
the outside edge inward ensuring the fasteners penetrate the
closure strips as well to hold them in place (leave the last
fastener out to allow for side lap of the second sheet.)
2) Place the second closure strip and sheet on the deck in
the same manner, overlapping at least one corrugation and
maintaining a consistent overhang, until reaching the
opposite edge.
HINT: It may be helpful to layout the first row and adjust left to
right so both edges look the same.

DURALINE is designed to be installed on solid decking a
minimum of 7/16” OSB and at a pitch of at least 3:12
(see below). For additional protection underlayment
and drip edge is suggested to prevent water infiltration.
Always refer to local building codes before starting any
project.
