Common Causes of Inaccurate Measurement Results
The following situations can result in inaccurate measurement results or errors.
The index finger is not placed
closely on the electrode.
The unit is held incorrectly.
• The unit is being held in the left hand.
Always use your right hand to hold
the unit when taking a measurement.
The rear of the unit is placed
against the chest.
The chest electrode is against the
finger and the finger electrode is
against the chest.
Unit placed on clothing.
