Inspecting by Position (POSITION)
This item is used to check the position of the workpiece. The edge of the work-
piece is detected, and judgment is performed by comparing those edge coordi-
nates against reference coordinates. This item is suitable for applications such
as checking presence/position of sealing tape and checking label position.
Example: Inspection of label presence/position
Basic Setting Procedure
■ Teaching
Enclose the area to be inspected using a rectangular box and then perform teaching.
Set so that there is one change in brightness such as “light to dark” or “dark to light” in the inspection
area.
