A NX bus connector This connector is used to connect each unit.
B Indicators The indicators show the current operating status of
the unit.
C Communication
ports
These ports are connected to the communication
cables of the network.
There are two connectors, allowing daisy-chaining
of communication units.
D Peripheral USB port This port is used to connect to the Sysmac Studio
software.
E Terminal block The terminal block is used to connect external
devices. The number of terminals depends on the
type of unit.
F Rotary switches These rotary switches are used to set the node ad-
dress.
The address is set in decimal for EtherCAT and in
hexadecimal for EtherNet/IP.
G DIP switch The DIP switch is used to set the 100s digit of the
node address of the coupler unit.
