5-7-3 Reader/Writer Family Code Setting (FC): I.CODE1 Mode
The FC Command is used to set or read the Family Code in the Reader/Writer. Only Tags that have the
same Family Code as the one set by this command can perform communications. If this Family Code is set
to 00, communications will be possible with all Tags. The default set value of the Reader/Writer is 00.

Family Code Indicates current Family Code in hexadecimal.
:・A setting becomes valid after executing Reset Command(XZ). To keep the setting valid next
startup, you need to save with Setting Write Command (EW).
This command is for I.CODE1 Mode Only. The command is not available in ISO mode.
5-7-4 Reader/Writer Application ID Setting (AI): I.CODE1 Mode
This Command is used to set or read and read the application ID in the Reader/Writer in 1.CODE1 Mode
Only Tags that have the same application ID as the one set by this command can perform communications.
If the application ID in the Reader/Writer is set to 00, communications will be possible with all Tags.

the Reader/Writer will be read.
