Power switch
Turns the unit on (LED indicator lights) and off
2 OPEN/CLOSE button
Ejects and retracts the CD; while playing a CD, the CD drive is
locked against unintentional opening
3 CD drive For inserting a CD

SEARCH  and  buttons For fast forward () and rewind () within a title and for frame-
accurate search for cue points and seamless loops
5 FOLDER button Enables folder search mode
6 IN button Sets the starting point of a loop (corresponding LED lights red)
7 OUT button Sets the end point of a continuous loop which is instantly started (IN
and OUT LEDs will be flashing). The loop will continue to play until
the OUT button is pressed once again; then the IN and OUT LEDs
will stop flashing but will remain on to indicate that a loop has been
memorized and is ready to be engaged. To program another loop,
simply redefine the starting and the end point with the IN and OUT
buttons. To set the loop points precisely to 1 frame (1/75 second),
enter pause mode and use the SEARCH  /  buttons to go to the
exact spot.
8 RELOOP button Reengages the loop; the IN and OUT LEDs will be flashing again
9 ON/OFF HOLD button Selects the setting range for the pitch silder: 4 %, 8 % or 16 %. A long
press deactivates the pitch control (indication - -)
10 VFD display Shows all functions of the unit and information of the data carriers
such as bargraph, title number, pitch value, single playback mode,
loops, play or pause, repeat settings, title and folder names and
elapsed, remain or total remain time (audio CD only) indicated in
minutes, seconds and frames (1/75 second)
11 Infrared sensor for the remote
control
When actuating a button, always direct the remote control towards
the sensor. There must be no obstacles between remote control and
the sensor. If the range of the remote control decreases, the batteries
are probably exhausted and must be replaced.
12 SINGLE button Engages single title playback mode (the unit will play one title and
stop). Otherwise, all titles of the CD or the selected folder will be
played.
13 TIME button
• Audio CD: Switches the time indication between elapsed,
remaining title and total remaining time
• MP3: Switches the time indication between elapsed and remaining
title time
14 REPEAT button
For selecting the repeat functions:
• first actuation: continuous repeat of the title selected
• second actuation: continuous repeat of all titles of the CD or the
current folder

third actuation: normal playback
15 CD/USB button Switches over between CD and USB operation
16 USB port
For inserting a USB storage medium
17 MASTER LEVEL control
Adjusts the overall volume
18 MIC LEVEL control
Adjusts the microphone volume
19 MIC input
Microphone input jack (6.3 mm jack)
