6.10 Sleep timer
The device can automatically switch off after a specific time so that the listener can fall asleep to music, for
example.
(1) Select "Sleep Timer" in the main menu or press the button on the remote control.
(2) To activate the timer function, select one of the following times: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150 or 180
minutes. The device automatically switches to stand-by mode after the selected time.
(3) After activation, a corresponding symbol appears in the display together with the remaining time until
automatic switch-off.

System Settings
Here you will find all available device settings. Press the button and select the "Configuration" menu item
with the rotary knob or the arrow buttons ◄, ► on the remote control and confirm your selection. Many
functions can also be opened directly via the corresponding button on the remote control.
Menu item Function
Network Network options
▪ Always on: The Wi-Fi function remains switched on (provides faster access
when switching from DAB or FM mode to Internet radio)
▪ Auto off in 30s: The Wi-Fi function shuts down after 30 seconds when not in
use (to save energy)
Wi-Fi channels
▪ Here you can set your country to define the country-specific WiFi radio
channels used. The default setting is Europe.
Wi-Fi network
▪ Add/Remove AP
Add AP (Scan): The device scans for routers within the reception area (
chapter 5).
Add AP (WPS button): Activate this item and press the WPS key on your
router to conveniently access the network without entering the network key.
Add AP (SmartConfig): To configure network access with an app on your
smartphone.
Remove AP: To remove an existing network access.
▪ AP: [...]: Indication of active network access with the option to change/remove.
▪ Signal: ...dBm: Indicates the power of the signal the device receives via the
router. If the signal power is below 70 dBm and impairs the radio reception,
you should adjust the router’s position or check the router for technical errors.
▪ IP [...]: To displaying/change the IP setting.
▪ DNS [...]: To display/change the DNS setting.
LAN network
▪ IP [...]: To displaying/change the IP setting.
▪ DNS [...]: To display/change the DNS setting.
Date & Time
Your local time is set automatically right after an Internet connection has been
established. However, you can make the following adjustments manually:
▪ Selecting the time zone
▪ Display format for time display
▪ Display format for date display
▪ Consideration of summer and winter time
▪ Choice between automatic time setting via the network or manual time setting
▪ Setting the time server for automatic time setting
▪ Automatic time setting via DAB transmitter
▪ Automatic time setting via FM transmitter
