OPERATION
The TUNA-ONE can either be operated via the buttons on the front panel or via the remote control.
Switching on
Switch on the unit with the power button. The display shows the station number last selected and the
corresponding receiving frequency. If a program is transmitted in stereo, the indication STEREO appears in
the display.
Station tuning
To store stations, 10 storage locations are available in the FM range and 10 further storage locations in the
AM range.
1) Switch to FM reception (indication FM) or AM reception (indication AM) with the button AM/FM.
2) Long actuation of the button TUNING [+] (forwards) or TUNING [‒] (reverse) starts automatic station
finding. The station finding stops as soon as a station is found. Start the station finding so many times
until the desired station will be received.
3) For manual fine tuning, shortly press the button TUNING [+] or [‒] to increase or reduce the received
frequency step by step.
Storing stations
1) Select a station as described previously.
2) Press the button MEMORY, the memory slot number is displayed.
3) Select the memory slot (station number) step by step with the buttons STATION [+] and [‒].
4) Press MEMORY again to save. The display shows OK.
Automatic station memory
Stations with good reception can also be stored with the automatic station memory. Pressing the button
AUTO SCAN starts the automatic station memory. The automatic station memory will be running forward and
store six stations in the memory. Stations will only be stored in the selected band.
Calling stored stations
1) To call a stored station, select the corresponding band with the button AM/FM and press the station
button of the station. For direct selection of place 10 shortly press button +5 twice. For places 6 to 9
shortly press button +5 and then the corresponding station button.
2) Stations can also be called with the buttons SKIP [+/‒]. SKIP [‒] selects the previous station number
and the button SKIP [+] selects the next station number.
3) For muting the sound, press the button MUTE (indication MUTE). To switch on the sound again, press
the button MUTE once again.
Indicating RDS information
If the station selected broadcasts RDS data (radio data system), the button RDS lights up. Press the button
to indicate the information (PS, DATE, PTY and TEXT) in the display.
