2 By turning the rotary press control DATA you can adjust the degree of frequency boost or cut between
-12 dB and +12 dB. Press the control to confirm your selection.
3 T
he menu item Q (Q-factor) is called. By turning the rotary press control you can adjust the bandwidth
of the filer between 0.2 and 25. Press the control to confirm your selection.
4 The menu item Freq (frequency) is called. Finally, adjust the cutoff frequency, at which the filter starts
working between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz.
F. Switching on the limiter
To protect the PA amplifiers and speakers connected, the crossover features a limiter for each output which
is able to suppress harmful signal peaks.
1 Call menu item Limiter.
2 Adjust the limiter threshold between -50 dBu and +9 dBu by turning the rotary press control DATA. In
most cases it is sufficient to adjust the threshold value to the clipping level of the connected PA
amplifiers.
G. Phase adjustment
Should a turn of phase occur during the signal transmission, it can be compensated.
1 Call menu item Phase.
2 By pressing the rotary press control DATA you can switch between Normal (output signal and input
signal have the same phase) and Inverted (compared to the input signal, the output signal is changed
by 180°).
H. Link of input channels A, B and outputs 1 to 6
As a basic setting the input channels A and B will be linked when selecting a stereo operating mode. Thus
the input gain can be collectively adjusted for both channels. Also outputs 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 will
be linked and thus all parameters can be collectively adjusted for every two outputs. This setting can be
changed.
1 Call menu item Link.
2 By pressing the rotary press control DATA you can switch between On (channels linked) and Off
(channels unlinked).
