INSTALLATION
The faucet can be used with most undersink water ltration
systems. Your undersink water ltration system was installed with
either a stop valve adapter tee or with a saddle valve assembly.
Both methods are used to tap into the cold water line.
1. Remove old faucet
A) From the underside of the sink, locate and turn off the cold
water shut-off valve located on the cold water line.
B) Open the old faucet on the sink to relieve pressure on the
system.
C) Find the connection between the faucet stem and the 1/4-
inch water supply tubing.
D) Loosen the hardware and remove the water supply tubing
from the faucet. Place the tubing end in a pan to catch any
water leaking from the disconnected tubing.
E) From the top side of the sink, remove the rest of the old
faucet.
2. Install the faucet
A) Remove small parts bag for faucet from plastic bag.
B) Insert small black rubber washer, metal escutcheon plate
and large black rubber washer on threaded stem of faucet.
C) Insert faucet stem into hole in sink or countertop.
D) From under the sink, slide the black plastic locating washer,
lock-washer and lock nut onto threaded stem of faucet.
E) Tighten nut hand-tight and recheck position of faucet on
sink. Tighten nut with wrench until faucet is secure. Do not
over-tighten lock nut. Hint: Have someone hold faucet in
desired position on top of sink while tightening the nut.
