4.3.5 Controller Setup (continued)
Below are the definitions of terms used in the Controller Setup page.
A) Setup:
Clicking on the options shown, allows user to modify the different parameters
shown under this menu (see Section 4.3.6. Setup Page for more details)
B) Monitor:
If you have the DIN Rail version of the zSeries, leave settings as shown below
(default) as there is no front panel display;
Scrolling: Checked, default.
End Device ID: Not applicable.
C) Transmission Power:
PID (Network ID): The Personal Network ID (0 to 65535). In parenthesis is the
firmware version of the radio module. The firmware version is also shown on a
label attached to the wiDR (see Figure 3.1).
The wiDR always has an address of 0.
Channel: Choose the operation channel defined in IEEE 802.15.4 for the
sensor network.
Transmission Power: This determines the signal power transmitted by the
wiDR. The options are 10 dBm and 20 dBm.
Please refer to local regulations for the allowed maximum transmission
power.

D) Miscellaneous:
iSeries Version: The firmware version of the wiDR controller, also shown on
model/serial label (See Figure 3.1).
Changes made on the Controller Setup page will take place after clicking
the Reset Controller button or simply power recycling the wiDR
