OMAX Rotary Axis

The Rotary Axis is a robust, waterproof rotary head that allows the abrasive waterjet to cut 6-axis* paths to create complex 3D

shapes. Constant rotational control allows for continuous cutting around a shape. Advanced software features in the Intelli-MAX

Software Suite grants the ability to cut complex shapes and angles when used in conjunction with the A-Jet

articulated cutting

head. Precision rotations offer accurate cutting of multi-faceted shapes and other geometric-shaped materials. The Rotary Axis can

be mounted on any OMAX JetMachining

Center, signicantly expanding the cutting capabilities.

*6-axis cutting requires A-Jet or Tilt-A-Jet

ROTARY AXIS ADVANCED 3D CAPABILITY When used with the A-Jet, oblique angle and bevel-edged holes can be cut along the circumference of pipes. The continuous motion of the Rotary Axis coupled with advanced software features in the latest Intelli-MAX Software Suite and the A-Jet articulated cutting head opens up new capabilities of your OMAX JetMachining Center. Complex beveled openings can be generated parametrically for simple creation of challenging weld prep pipe fittings.
