● Like all flash memory, the xD-Picture Card has a limited life span, and will eventually become incapable of performing WRITE/ERASE functions after long term use. When the media fails replace it with
a new xD-Picture Card. ● When saving or erasing files from a personal computer using a PC card adapter, the minimum number of remaining pictures available may decrease. For best results, only
format and erase the card in the camera. This will reset the number of remaining pictures to the correct amount. ● When using this product with another brand of camera, format it with that camera. If this
is not done, the camera may not function properly.

● Como toda memoria instántanea, la tarjeta xD-Picture Card tiene una vida de servicio limitada y eventualmente será incapaz de ejecutar las funciones WRITE/ERASE después de largo tiempo. Cuando
el medio falle, reemplácelo por una nueva tarjeta xD-Picture Card. ● Cuando almacene o borre archivos desde un computador personal empleando el adaptador de tarjeta PC, el número mínimo de
fotogramas restantes disponibles se reducirá. Para obtener mejores resultados, sólo formatee y borre la tarjeta en la cámara. Esto reposicionará el número de fotogramas restantes al número correcto.
● Cuando utilice este producto con otra marca de cámara, formatéela con esa cámara. Si ésto no es efectuado, la cámara puede no funcionar debidamente.

Do not put this product in water or dusty places.
Do not expose the xD-Picture Card to high temperatures or humidity.
Do not use the xD-Picture Card close to inflammable objects.
Do not touch or let a metal object touch the contact area of the xD-Picture Card.
Doing so may cause static electricity to destroy the data. To clean the card, wipe
with a soft dry cloth. Do not use alcohol.
Do not turn off the power, apply shocks to the xD-Picture Card, or eject the
card while recording/reading. Doing so may destroy the data.

carte pendant l’enregistrement/lecture. Faire ainsi peut détruire les données.

xD-Picture Card heftigen Erschütterungen aussetzen oder auswerfen. Andernfalls können
die Daten zerstört werden.

The xD-Picture Card is a precision instrument. Handle it carefully, and do not bend
it or subject it to physical shocks.
Data may be destroyed if this product is used incorrectly, even though the data is
saved in non-volatile semiconductor memory. To avoid accidental erase, transfer
data to other media regularly such as a computer Hard Disk, CD, or MO drive.
When formatting the xD-Picture Card, make sure that there is no important data on
it. Formatting the card erases all the existing data. The panorama function
remains for repeated use. Formatting must be done by the camera.
La carte xD-Picture Card est un instrument de précision. La manipuler avec soin, et ne pas la
cintrer ni la soumettre à des chocs physiques.
Des données risquent d’être détruites si ce produit est utilisé de façon incorrecte, même si les
données sont sauvegardées dans une mémoire à semi-conducteur nonvolatile. Pour éviter un
effacement accidentel, transférer régulièrement les données sur d’autres supports.
Avant de formater la carte xD-Picture Card, s’assurer qu’elle ne contient pas d’informations
importantes. Formater la carte efface toutes les données existantes. La fonction panorama
reste pour un usage répété. Le formatage doit être effectué par l’appareil photo.

oder heftigen Erschütterungen aussetzen.
Falls dieses Produkt nicht einwandfrei gehandhabt wird, können die gespeicherten Daten
unwiderruflich beschädigt werden, obwohl es sich bei diesem Produkt um einen nicht flüchtigen
Halbleiterspeicher handelt. Zur Vermeidung von Datenverlust sollten die Daten regelmäßig auf
andere Datenträger übertragen werden.
Vor dem Formatieren der xD-Picture Card sicherstellen, dass diese keine wichtigen Daten enthält.
Der Formatiervorgang löscht alle vorhandenen Daten. Die Panoramafunktion wird für
wiederholten Gebrauch beibehalten. Die Formatierung muss in der Kamera erfolgen.
