Resetting the Lens Position at Shutdown (Reset Lens)

You have the option of not restoring the lens to the reset focus position when the
camera is turned o󰀨. This lets you turn the camera o󰀨 without changing the focus
position.

MENU n AF n6. MF n Reset Lens

The lens focus position is not reset when the camera is turned o󰀨.
Power zoom lenses also return to the zoom position they were in
before the camera was turned o󰀨.
