Set the date, time, and date format.
• Use HI to highlight items.
• Use FG to change the highlighted item.
• The clock can be adjusted at any time from the

a 24-hour clock.

Complete the initial setup.
• Press the Q button to set the clock.
• If the battery is removed from the camera and the camera is left for a while, the date and
time may be reset to the factory default setting.
• If you are going to record movies, adjust the frame rate according to the video standard of
the country/region. g [Video Frame Rate] (P. 136)
Turning the camera o󰀨
To turn the camera o󰀨, return the ON/OFF lever to the OFF
position. See page 158 for information on how to proceed
if the camera displays the dialog shown in the illustration.
