6-2 Connecting to Smartphones via Wi-Fi
Remote Photography Using a Smartphone
Use OI.Share to control the camera remotely and take pictures from a smartphone.

Launch the dedicated OI.Share app on the
smartphone.
2 Tap V in the camera monitor and tap [Device
Connection] when prompted.
• If connection options are displayed, highlight [Device
Connection] and press the OK button.
• If you have previously connected to the smartphone,
the camera will start the connection automatically.
• To connect from the camera menus, highlight
[T Wi-Fi Connect] in the q playback menu
and press I on the arrow pad. Highlight [Device
Connection] and press the OK button.
• w1 will be displayed when a connection is
established.

3 Tap [Remote Control] in OI.Share.
• Remote control options will be displayed.
4 Tap the shutter button to take pictures.
• The pictures will be saved to the memory card.
