4-5 Customizing Camera Functions
4 Highlight [Delete] using the FG buttons and press
the I button.
• A confi rmation dialog will be displayed.
5 Highlight [Yes] using the FG buttons and press the
OK button.
• The dialog shown in Step 3 will be displayed. Confi rm
that the lens name has been deleted.
• To disable AF fi ne-tuning without deleting the entries for the current lens, select [Off] for [AF
Focus Adj.].

• The camera can store multiple values for each lens.
Enabling Fine-Tuning
Display the lens data list and place checks (v) next to the items you wish to use.

I Choosing a Focus Distance for Preset MF
(Preset MF distance)
Quickly focus at a previously-stored distance. An example of a situation in which this
option might effective is astronomical photography featuring the moon or stars, when
you want to focus quickly at infi nity.
• This item applies during both still photography and movie recording. See pages 129 and
357 for more information.
