n 3-2 Shooting Settings
Displaying the Silent Control Tab
Use the menus to hide or display the silent control tab. When the tab is not
displayed, it can be displayed using the menus.
1 Press the MENU button to display the menus.
2 Highlight the n (video menu) tab using FG on the
arrow pad and press the I button.
3 Highlight [n Display Settings] using the FG
buttons and press the I button.
4 Highlight [n Info Settings] using the FG buttons
and press the I button, then highlight [Custom1] or
[Custom2] and press the I button.
• A list of available shooting indicators will be displayed.
5 Highlight [Silent G Operation] using the FG
buttons and press the OK button.
• Selected options are marked with a v. To deselect,
press the OK button again.
6 Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the
menus.
• The silent control tab will appear in the n (movie) mode
shooting display.
• If the silent control tab is not displayed, press the INFO
button repeatedly until it appears.

Silent control tab
• The [Custom 2] display is hidden by default. It can be displayed using [n Display Settings] >
[n Info Settings] in the n video menu. g [n Info Settings] (P. 429)
