n 3-2 Shooting Settings
Touch Controls (Silent Controls)
Frequently-used options can be accessed via touch
controls. This prevents the sound of the buttons being
recorded with movies. By default, a silent control tab is
displayed when you select n (movie) mode; if it is not, it
can be displayed using the menus. The following controls
are listed:

Y (power zoom)
Zoom power zoom lenses in or out.
P (headphone volume)
Adjust volume when using headphones.

• Silent controls are not available during high-speed movie recording (P. 339).
