Rotating Pictures (Rotate)
Rotate pictures for display. Use this option to view pictures taken in portrait (“tall”)
orientation without rotating the camera.
1 Press the q button.
• The most recent picture will be displayed.

2 Press the OK button.
• A menu of edit options will be displayed.
3 Highlight [Rotate] using FG on the arrow pad and
press the OK button.
4 Press the F button to rotate the picture
counterclockwise, the G button to rotate it
clockwise.
• You can also rotate pictures by pressing the rear dial.
5 Press the OK button to save changes and exit.
• The picture will be saved to the memory card in the selected orientation.
• Protected images cannot be rotated.

• The camera can be confi gured to automatically rotate portrait-orientation pictures during
playback. g q playback menu > [R] (P. 283)
[Rotate] is not available when [Off] is selected for [R].
