Switching on (Standby mode)
To activate Standby mode, press
the REC/STOP button
 or the
PLAY/STOP button
 when TIME
mode is active.
Switching on (TIME mode)
To activate TIME mode immediately,
press the MODE/PAUSE button

when Standby mode is active.
Note: If you do not press a button
for a period of 30 seconds, the re-
corder automatically switches to the
time display (TIME mode).
Operating modes
The operating modes differ in the display as follows:

− Length of the current message
