Private Network Name tab
The Private Network Name tab serves to assign private network names for local and
remote HomePlugs. A private network name can be 8 − 64 characters long and
enables the HomePlugs to communicate with each other.
1. Enter a random network name in the Private Network Name to be set input field.
2. Click the [Apply] button to assign the private network name to the local
HomePlug.
NOTE: In order for communication to be possible, at least 2 HomePlugs must have
the same private network name.

relevant HomePlug in the Device ID input field. The device ID is provided on a label
on the HomePlug devices. Then click on the [Apply] button.
The Simulate Simple Connect Button option enables you to execute various
functions without having to press the Simple Connect button manually. This option is
only available for the local HomePlug. Select the function required from the Action
drop−down menu and then click on the [Simulate Button Push] button.
